Sauna Ceremony
A sauna ceremony is a spiritual experience inviting participants to connect with nature, one's self and the sacred elements of heat and steam. We'll integrate different practices and incorporate all senses to bring you on a journey of transformation based on ancient sauna culture practices. It fosters a sense of gratitude, grounding and inner harmony.
What Is a Sauna Ceremony?
A sauna ceremony is a guided, intentional experience. Held in a sauna where participants enter with purpose to release, to renew, and to realign with one’s self.
Our facilitators, Niamh and Aisling, will lead you through a journey of breath work, silence, heat cycles, aromatherapy, whisking and cold plunges into the sea. This blend of physical and energetic cleansing allows deep detoxification and a sense of calm.
Why Join a Sauna Ceremony?
Many people come for the physical benefits—detox, better sleep, improved circulation—but stay for something deeper. Sauna ceremonies are often described as “spiritual resets.” They’re a chance to:
Release stress and stuck energy
Let go of what no longer serves you
Connect with your inner wisdom
Share silence and intention with others
Feel lighter, clearer, and more alive
Who Is This For?
This ceremony is open to all adults, regardless of prior sauna experience. We welcome anyone seeking healing, grounding, or simply a deeper connection with self and nature. If you're new, we guide you gently. If you’re experienced, you’ll find space to go deeper.

Little bit about the facilitators
Niamh and Aisling share a love of creating spaces where people can pause, breathe, and reconnect. They have been on a journey to bring meaningful sauna ceremonies to the west of Clare.
Together, they guide each ceremony with warmth, care, and intention, creating an experience that is both grounding and uplifting. Whether it's your first sauna or your fiftieth, their aim is to make everyone feel welcome, supported, and free to experience the ritual in their own way.
Rooted in a love of nature and community, we believe that healing often happens in the simplest moments, sharing stories, embracing silence, and gathering around the warmth of the sauna.
Niamh- “ Saunas were created when communal bathing was the norm. In this modern world, people have become more and more isolated, what I love about the ceremony is it allows people to connect not just in an emotional way, also on a physical level, we invite participants to receive our treatments but also to give to each other, and to create a space where human to human physical connection is the norm again.”
Aisling- “ What I love about the sauna ceremony is how grounded and connected I feel throughout and afterwards. I know that is because of how our sauna ceremony is so deeply rooted in nature. Trees are one of my favorite things about nature, so bringing birch whisks into the sauna to guide the steam and massage the skin feels like an incredible new way for me to connect with them. Nature has all the answers we seek, it reminds me to slow down, be patient, to let go and that we are all beautifully unique in our own way.”
